For tomorrow's varsity home game against Napoleon, the entrance gate will open at 6:00. The game has a 7:00 start time.
This is the parking information for Friday's first varsity home game at the LDK Athletic Complex.
Jonesville High School band members, football coaches, football players, cheerleading coaches, cheerleaders and program helpers are being asked to park in the parking lot in front(north side) of the high school.
The parking lot in front of the stadium(south side) of high school is for only handicapped and drop offs. We will have an event worker at this location.
The east side drive will be blocked off as part of our emergency action plan and the parking on the east side(area between the dumpsters and receiving) will be designated for the officials and our custodians.
Spectator parking should be in the parking areas to the west of the high school. The drive directly to the west of the high school is a no parking zone.

BELLEVILLE, Mich. (September 2026) — The Michigan High School Athletic Coaches Association (MHSCA)
has named Matt Molinaro of Jonesville the State Girls Bowling Coach of the Year.
Mr. Matt Molinaro will be formally recognized at the annual MHSCA State Awards Luncheon on November 8,
2026, at the Great Hall Banquet & Convention Center in Midland, Michigan, alongside 28 other distinguished
coaches and athletic directors from across the state.
"The selection of Coach Molinaro reflects the high standard of excellence maintained by Jonesville Schools and
the broader community" the MHSCA noted in its announcement. Candidates for the award are nominated by
their respective sport associations and evaluated based on long-term program performance, leadership, and
contributions to athletics and the community.
Representing nearly 25,000 athletic administrators and coaches, the 71-year-old association promotes the
educational values of interscholastic athletics across Michigan. The MHSCA extends its sincere congratulations
to Coach Molinaro and Jonesville Schools.
Jonesville Community Schools is very lucky to have Coach Molinaro leading our Comet bowling program! Congratulations Coach!!

Physicals: Per MHSAA guidelines, any student entering grades 6-12 this fall that is interested in playing a school sport in the fall, winter, or spring must have a physical on file in the athletic office before any try out or practice can occur. The physical must be dated on or after April 15, 2026. The physical examination form must be completely filled out on both sides before the athletic department can accept it as official. The physical examination form must be signed by the M.D., D.O., Physician’s Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner. You can drop off your completed physicals to the High School office or give it to the coach.
