Abstract Life A Creative Collaboration Jonesville High School Advanced Art Class collaborated to create this amazing artwork from recycled frames. Each artist applied their own creativity, personal connections and sense of significance behind what Life in the Abstract means to them. They then problem solved together how to construct with balance, movement and thought given to all of the organizational principles of design and elements of art. Thank you to County National Bank for this opportunity and support of the arts and our artists. Thank you to Ramshackle Brewing Company for your generous donation! As a result, Jonesville High School was able to purchase some new Aquatic D-Frame Dip Nets for our Limnology and Environmental Chemistry classes. Students have been able to collect a variety of Macroinvertebrates in the St. Joe River and in the Campus Pond. We have identified several Mayfly, Dragonfly, Damselfly, pouch snails, clams, scuds, midge larvae, water beetles, and leech species. A big thank you to Ramshackle Brewing Company for supporting its community schools!

Mr. Stanton and Mrs. McKelvey took 53 students, who are currently enrolled in Government class, to attend the Court Community Connections program on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. The Court heard Supreme Court Case No. 162833, People of the State of Michigan v David Allan Lucynski. While this was a fun trip for students, it was extremely educational as students were able to witness the process of appellate courts and the judicial system firsthand.
